Wonderful Sunny Southern California

When we arrived at Chula Vista RV Resort, both of us were so ready for the beach, ocean, breezes and salt air. After spending several weeks in the desert, this change of scenery was just what the doctor ordered for us both.

Chula Vista ( for those geographically challenged ) is located just below San Diego on the Pacific ocean. Just below Chula Vista is Tijuana, Mexico. To the East are mountain ranges and to the West is of course the Pacific ocean. The resort we are staying at is probably one of the nicest we have seen. It's manicured lawns and its use of differing plants in their landscaping make this place appealing. We are situated at the west end of the park and our site sits approximately 500 ft. off the bay. There always seems to be a gentle breeze that comes off the water which makes it wonderful for us. The temperatures since we arrived have been around 80 degrees everyday and its been sunny and pleasant.

We plan on exploring the area more and will constantly update the web site here with pictures. Stay Tuned as we venture out and see the sites of San Diego and Southern California.

The Resort One of the roads inside the resort. Unlike a few we seen in the desert, these roads are paved and have no dust. :)
Our site Another view of our site. Notice those chairs where we sit and drink our coffee and stare out at the bay.
This is the back fence area of the resort. Opposite of this is the park and shoreline. The resort is part of a marina and yacht club.
Another view of the marina. This is the park that separates the resort from the bay.
The shoreline on the bay. Look off into the distance and you can see the San Diego city skyline. A view of Coronado Island.
