This is the new addition to our family, Bella Mina. We recently sold Matilda, our faithful 1993 Bounder and bought this new Coach.  Bella, as we affectionately call her is a new 2005 Holiday Rambler/Monaco Ambassador. It is listed as a 40 ft long coach with the floor plan designation of 40 PLQ. It is powered by a Turbo Charged Cummins 330 hp ISC diesel engine that has an Allison MH 3000 -  6 speed transmission. The engine produces 950 ft. lbs of torque to help pull us up those steep mountain grades. It comes with a full air brake system plus a Pac Exhaust brake system which is helpful when descending mountains or wanting to slow down in traffic. The chassis is one of the most advanced in the industry with a full air ride system provided by 8 air bags plus 8 gas Monroe shocks all mounted in an outboard position. The pictures speak for the interior as it has a great floor plan and the decor is a 2005 Special Edition option which includes all Liz Clairborne fabric. We removed the love seat and added two euro recliners which better suits our living style. All the wood work is done in Cherry and the cabinetry is very high quality.

 The coach has every available option including a 4 door fridge with ice maker, dual air conditioners and heat pump system and a whole host of other conveniences. It also has a King Dome satellite system connected to a Direct TV Network system along with a 6 speaker TV Theatre surround sound. There are a total of 12 speakers for the stereo and TV throughout the coach. It has powered adjustable brake and gas pedals, powered / heated mirrors, power sun visors that raise and lower by the flick of a switch, a hidden floor panel in front of the co-pilot which is powered that raises and lowers in place to cover the stairwell entry, powered awnings, and a 8 KW Onan diesel generator.  The generator is coupled to an energy management system plus 4 " house " batteries as a back up that can power the coaches electrical system through a Magnum 2,000 watt inverter. The coach is fully self contained with its own electrical, water and sewer system that can be used for extended stays in the boondocks. One of the neatest safety features on this coach is the 3 - camera system. It provides you with a view of what's behind you via a dash mounted monitor ( the camera can also be adjusted up and down from the pilots seat ) in addition to two cameras mounted on the front left and right corners. When turning left or right your turn signal automatically selects the appropriate camera which gives you a wide angle shot down the side to show if any vehicles or obstacles are there.

Words can not explain just how easy this coach is to drive and how well it handles on curvy mountainous roads. It has been a dream come true for us and we enjoy traveling the country in Bella.
