| This photo shows the location of the slobber tube, which on a Cummins 8.3 is located on top of the engine. | I removed all of the factory hose and installed 3 ft of 1 inch heater hose in its place. The hose was then routed downward next to the starter. |

You can see the picture of the hose that runs to the tank. Note that it should not have any bends in it. It should continually go downhill to properly drain into the tank. This tank also has a drain pet cock on the bottom so you can drain it periodically. |

| I slipped a piece of larger hose over the AN 12 fitting and then inserted the slobber tube into that. The hose is held in place on the AN fitting using a hose clamp. |
