Middle Aged Biker's
Ally & I share a passion for riding motorcycles and we get out and ride every chance we get. There is something about being on your motorcycle cruising down a back country road and enjoying the scenery with the wind in your face. Recently we had two small motorcycles and we found they were a bit unstable in the wind as well as in traffic so we traded them off and bought new ones. Our new bikes are called " Cruisers " and are heavier, more powerful and much more stable in the wind and in the draft created by trucks, car's, etc. Being frugal :) we opted for used bikes a Honda Aero Shadow and a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad. The resort we are staying at is filled with many bikers and we have already met new friends and are enjoying riding with other bikers. As a matter of fact, one of our dear friends Bruce visited the Honda dealer with me and looked my bike over carefully and then test drove it for me before I bought it. He also was instrumental in the selection of Ally's bike. We have been real pleased with both of them.
Another of our resort friends here at the resort and one of our riding buddies, Sandy & Sam also gave us positive feedback on these bikes and gave us a safety video to watch. The video was awesome and really had some pointers on it that were very beneficial to both of us. The instructor in the video is a former Motorcycle Cop and he used the same criteria in the video that he learned in his training. We both will always be thankful to Sam & Sandy for providing us with the video.
We both were excited about the new bikes and just wanted to share the new " rides " with all of you.
UPDATE !!!
